Porsche 911 GT3 Speaker Showcases an Exhaustive Amount of Detailing

You don’t have to be a Porsche fanatic to be impressed with the exhaustive amount of detailing that Porsche Design went to while designing their latest glossy black Bluetooth speaker.

Those aluminum twin pipes aren’t just facsimiles of the real thing, they’re genuine exhaust-pipes culled from the parts chain typically used to cap the exhaust ends of the Porsche 911 GT3. This latest design is a refined followup to an industrial-styled predecessor, the Porsche 911 soundbar (below), a wild 200 watt 2.1 virtual surround system constructed with the original rear silencer and twin exhaust from a 911 GT3.

At an exchange rate of about $570 – give or take a Euro – the twin speaker Bluetooth 4.0 enabled doesn’t come cheap, but it does come equipped for instant NFS device connectivity and wireless CD quality sound via apt-X technology. As the dual output makes evident, the 60-watt system is engineered for stereo output, with a battery playback time of 24 hours.

Whether you prefer the original engine-produced growl that normally emanates out of the Porsche exhaust pipe or not, you can’t argue it’s a more reasonably priced purchase to tide anyone over between turning dreams into realities.
